Change as Opportunity by Deb Merchant

When most of us first learned to use the templates, we ran headlong into three trains of thought we didn’t realize were there, much less shaped our reality. First, most of us found ‘craving’ to sound simple but to be unfamiliar and complex. Next, we discovered we thought what we craved would solve a problem rather than transform our reality. Finally, many of us didn’t realize at first that having what we craved, transforming our world, meant aspects of our lives would change to make room for the new. Each of these thought forms is imbedded in our modern Western culture. Using the templates will definitely alter these thought patterns. This brief article will explore the last idea: that craving what you crave means change is necessary, possibly on many levels, to make room for what you crave.

I have come to accept that change is just part of this life. Whether I ask for the change through using the templates (or some other form of request), or it comes from circumstances I didn’t set in motion, I’ve discovered I can’t move with the change and remain the same. Before accepting this truth, I tended to be more resistant to change. In contrast, many people welcome change, being enlivened by constant generativity and the redesign that brings.

What is the common denominator of these two general responses to change? Is there an opportunity here somewhere? It seems to me that the person who thrives on change simply harnesses the life force energy of how Creation works, either consciously or not. Being less accepting of these principles of Creation, can result in suffering. The suffering can come from the energy tied up in resistance, and/or being unconscious of one’s relationship to change.

A fundamental aspect of choice and opportunity, then, is conscious awareness. Start by becoming aware of your style to help you make choices. You could even write a template “Craving flowing with change…..” and associated Observing to become more aware of what choices could be valid for you.

The next aspect of discovering opportunity in the universal truth of change is registering how life works. The first, truly fundamental aspect of how life works is recognizing that each of us is a unique and essential part of Creation, the greater whole of which we are a part. That fact, backed up by many spiritual and scientific sources, often takes some getting used to, possibly because it’s very personal. This reality can even be a bit mind-blowing, because it is not part of what our modern Western culture is based on, so absorbing this idea requires some shift in your relationship to yourself, your Self, and to Life. Most of us did not have a direct revelation of this awareness, but came to it over time.

Then follows a few other principles of Creation (how Life works). These principles are imbedded in the spiral structure of the template construct:

Everything is part of everything else.

Everything operates on behalf of everything else.

Everything is interactive, interrelated, interdependent.

Everything is always going in and out of existence.

Everything is always deconstructing and constructing.

Everything is always contracting and expanding.

Everything is always moving to the next greater whole.

These principles would be true and in motion even if humans were not on this planet. Given orienting to this way of knowing life can be an adjustment, doing nothing and observing the principles in motion could feel like being out of control. In a way, being in control of aspects of one’s life is a false myth of modern Western culture. So, let me give some examples of how knowing these principles helped me.

When my family and I moved from Ohio to California for my internship, we engaged in all the activities of leaving one location for another. This is deconstruction. Finding our new home and setting everything up is construction, everything moving to the next greater whole as well as all the other principles at the same time. None of them occur one at a time, in linear fashion. When one principle is more observable, another is still occurring even if less noticeably. In the example of moving from Ohio, at certain points, it could have looked like deconstruction was all that was happening, but construction was also occurring, if only in the background. Then, the closer we got to California; construction was the more obvious dynamic.

This is how using the Templates transforms your life.

The change I set in motion which had me realize I can’t change and stay the same happened in the most recent efforts to improve my health. Initially I was very excited, determined, and eager. Then I ran headlong into the truth that forming life-enhancing habits meant reducing or eliminating life-defeating ways of being. That assaulted all my carefully, often unconsciously, constructed comfort zones. I was able to use awareness of the principles of Creation imbedded in the templates to open up into less reactive states and choose responsive ways to generate new comfort zones which are life enhancing. And so the journey to health continues, not in a straight line, but in a spiral of life.

These are some of the fundamental ways there is opportunity in change, and change through using the templates which weave the way Creation works into your life. Choice would become an act, an art, of moving with Creation, my direct, unique connection with Creation, like a choreography. I’m less and less governed by change controlled by the system I was born into, and instead, empowered to move with a reality which includes what I was born into, but is no longer solely defined by that. While there is no way to describe the opportunities inherent in this path in a completely concrete way, the opportunities are sturdier, more varied, and more life-enhancing across a lifespan. This is a seriously attractive prospect to me, and it comes with change of moving to the next greater whole many times over…..fortunately, if you continue in this self-study regarding learning the templates, you will have priceless tools to support you on this journey.

Use the Templates to Create the Life that You Crave

We all have dreams of how we want to be in our life; of what we want to do, and of what we want to have in our lives. For most of our lives, we have been given a lot of advice from family, friends, our community, and social media about how we ‘should’ be in the world, what we ‘should’ do and what we ‘should’ have. This ‘advice’ often doesn’t really align with our inner sense of whom we came here to be or to do.

We end up frustrated that we aren’t doing or being as we think or feel that we should. Or we feel we aren’t being the person that we feel inside. This can happen when we first leave high school or college and must choose a career and later in our 30s, 40s and 50s when we ask ‘is this all there is?’

What intelligence are you listening to that tells you that your life is not working as it ‘should’? Admittedly it could be your historic mind repeating all the ‘shoulds’ that you heard as you grew up. That intelligence could also be your own inner voice that tells you that the work that you are doing just isn’t what you really want to be doing. Or you find that you are searching for an inner spiritual journey that isn’t present in your life. That intelligence is what we call our sentient intelligence. It is your body and spirit speaking through some kind of physical or emotional sensation or experience. Such as butterflies in your stomach, energies running through you, a gut sense that something is wrong or a gut sense that this ‘thing’ is mine to do, and much more.

When I was in my 30’s I got that gut sense that there was more to life and for me. It directed my attention to spiritual paths…meditation, chi kung, Native American spirituality and more. Each of these searches ended up giving me a piece of the puzzle of what I was searching for, but nothing was fully ‘it’.

In my 60’s I discovered Tantra Maat and the Templates of the Language of Creation. I realized that she had access to something that I didn’t have access to. When I learned to write the Templates, I discovered a clear path to accessing my deepest wisdom and manifesting the life that I craved.

The Templates of the Language of Creation consist of 9 Templates that lead us through 7 levels of consciousness. Each Template is constructed to help us access our deepest wisdom and thus clearly access our connection to our Spirit and to our Source, Creation, God, Goddess. Their structure requires that we write what is life-enhancing, life-generating for us and thus we end up describing our craved future in a specificity that we wouldn’t have otherwise. They expand our glial-neural networks in our brains which gives us more opportunities to choose our responses to life. We give ourselves a choice about how we want to be with ourselves and others, what we want to do in our life and ultimately what we have.

A critical piece of life is to be able to become the Observer. It is in the role of the Observer that we shift our perspective about a situation, we discover new possibilities and thus can act differently creating new outcomes in our life. The Observing and Observing being Templates give us this new perspective. Used with a Craving exercise, they act as a GPS for us as we claim both our craved future and our present circumstances. Our Creation Exercises support us in creating lives that are life-enhancing and life-generating.

What is Sentient Intelligence and what are its registers?

Sentience is defined as “sentient condition or character; capacity for sensation or feeling.” Dictionary.com expands upon sentience as being sentient as “having the power of perception by the senses; conscious.”

The Language of Consciousness Institute defines Sentient Intelligence as:

The resonant language of creation that bonds all that exists into one cohesive whole. This is the intelligence when picked up on allows all of life to be a sensual, engaging, vital, and connected experience. Experienced as sensations, sensitivity, emotions, or energies running through you, imagination, words popping into your head. It is an internal communication system.

This Sentient Intelligence is a language or communication system from your body and spirit to your mind. It sends language in chemical signals that you perceive in a sensory way. These are your sentient registers. Just as your body tells you when you are hot/cold, it also informs you about different energetic or emotional states such as butterflies in your stomach, being fearful, calm, worried, excited, etc. Exploring how your body communicates with you is the beginning of being consciously conscious of your body’s Sentient Intelligence.

Engaging with your Observings in a consciously conscious way, you experience how sensations, sensitivities, and imaginings thread together to deepen the felt experience and increase your capacity to track the full experience of your system – body, mind, and spirit. Victoria McMahon

What is home to you?

For some of us, the word ‘home’ carries the societal ideal of a two-parent family and a wanting to return to this early safe place, or an imaginary home fulfilling all that we think home should be. For others, the word ‘home’ may hold trauma, fear even anger and needing to get away. Your home could have been safe, or it could have been a dangerous place for a child to navigate.

Let’s look at what you hold for ‘home’ to be. What comes up in your mind or your emotions when you think/say the word ‘home’?

Is ‘home’ a physical place? Or is it a way that you feel about the idea of home? Or does the feeling of home arise when you are in a different place? When I think of home, I think of my childhood homes (Los Alamos NM, Chicago IL, Falls Church VA, we moved for Dad’s jobs). I also think of the homes where I raised my children in Virginia. Along with the physical location of our homes, we have sentient registers for what ‘feels like’ home, even if you have never been to a location before. Maybe it’s even in another city or country. In my travels, I experienced places in Peru that felt like home, like I lived there before. I have had friends who mentioned this phenomenon when visiting cities in Europe. Have you experienced other places that ‘feel’ like home?

So, what does ‘home’ or ‘being home’ mean to you? What arises in your memory, your emotions, your imagination?

What do you crave the word/concept ‘home’ to mean for you?

The easiest way to get to the description of what you want ‘home’ to be (not the negative that you may have experienced and probably an expansion of the positive that you have experienced) is to write your Creation Exercises using Template 3 and 4. Template 3 ‘Craving what home is for me is’ or Template 4 ‘Craving what being home is for me is being’ are phrases that you could use. Remember you write only life-enhancing or life-generating phrases, so any of those negative or life-defeating thoughts aren’t a part of your Creation Exercises and therefore not part of what ‘home’ will be for you in the future. In writing your Creation Exercises using Template 3 or 4, you are defining the word home differently so that any time in the future when you hear or think the word home, these life-enhancing phrases dominant in your glial neural networks. These new phrases are then part of what appears in your mind and your emotions when you hear the word ‘home’ and thus support you in choosing a response that is resonant for you.

For individuals looking for their next best earth-based home, writing these Creation Exercises will help you choose not just how that home will feel for you but also where the next location for your home is for you. So, you might write, ‘Craving what my next best location for my home is for me is’ or ‘Craving what my next best home is for me is’. For individuals who want to describe their Spirit’s home of origin in the Universe, these Creation Exercise will support you in connecting to that dimensional home. You might write ‘Craving what my Spirit’s home of origin is for me is’.

What does the phrase ‘coming home’ mean to you?

When I was in my late 20s that phrase ‘coming home’ generated in both my mother and myself, a reversal back to our roles when I left home to marry. I found it both confusing, and discomforting as I was an adult in my own life and somewhat comforting that my mother would slip so easily back into old patterns of how she showed her love for me. To help you define how you want to feel when ‘coming home’, I suggest that you write a Creation Exercise using Template 3, ‘Craving what coming home is for me is’. We create our reality based our beliefs and our languaging of those beliefs. Templates 3 & 4 are perfect for defining what we want ‘coming home’ to be for us. Even now in my senior years, the words ‘coming home’ begin to define the transition time for me, what do I want that transition to be like and what do I expect after death.

Your Creation Exercises help support you in living the life that you crave. Templates 3 & 4 are pivotal in your process of reclaiming words from your language so that they support you in making choices resonant with your cravings for the present and for the future. All those life-enhancing life-generating phrases that you write are simultaneously added to your glial neural networks. What occurs for us is truly magical. If the word ‘home’ had negative connotations for you, then after you have written a full Template 3 Creation Exercise on ‘Craving what home is for me is’, the word ‘home’ now has 12 new life-generating phrases linked to it. Your brain now has more glial cells embedded with those phrases to choose from, phrases that describe the best home that you can imagine for your Self.

We Need to Open Up to More

How does humanity move from the old ideas of what is true…of the polarization of duality…of the aloneness of this reality of separation? We do it individually and collectively. Sometimes it is movies or books that open up our minds to the interconnections, the interrelationships and the interdependence of all life on earth. More often I feel it is the actions of individuals opening up to the more of what humanity’s capacities and capabilities actually are, what their individual capacities and capabilities are.

We each have experienced separation and isolation, often feeling like there is no one else to support us. That sense of isolation is not a personal failing but more so a failing of our systems of education, commerce, and religion. In those systems, ideas/concepts/facts are taught in isolation. We are not educated to connect these ideas, concepts, facts to a larger network of living of which they and we are a part. Reductionism sprang from this same well, which simply focused us on taking everything, every connection down to what seems its simplest form. In this process of reductionism all the complexities, relationships, context are eliminated, and the fact stands alone. We study it as an always forever fact/concept/idea rather than studying it within the field of human living within which it arose and interacts.

We feel alone because we were educated to be alone, to be compliant, to listen and follow authority without having a larger sense of the why behind our office, our business, our associations, or our government. A non-thinking public was the desired result. Our non-thinking public that also feels so isolated and not supported is a deadly combination for our species. They are desperate and they don’t examine or think about anything someone says or does. It is a blind following. People have been denied their ability to think, to compare, to observe critically. Are we surprised that they act like sheep? Following was what they were trained to do.

Even our religions told us that we did not have direct access to the support of the divine. We were told that we had to access their idea of God, not ours thru the priests, ministers of these religions. When I was young I did not like the old man on the cloud who supposed to be a loving father. All the stories that I was told were of a vindictive being, not a loving father. I, like many others, left the religions of our families because the old cultural images of the divine no longer actually supported us. Those old cultural images did not feed our spirits. Many just walked away from any religious affiliation throwing out ‘the baby with the bath water’ when it came to seeking energetic support from dimensional forces. While others sought connection thru paganism, eastern religions or adapting the practices of indigenous peoples of their lands.

A different field of energy has been rising for the past 50 years. Many different individuals have begun to question the why of our existence. They knew that the reality that they were born into did not resemble the realities that they had known in some previous existence. They felt like they didn’t fit in this western world, in this reality of separation. Some describe these energies as other dimensional energies; some call the experience as the field of unity rising. They responded to these energies moving with deeper connections with nature, with the land, with the elementals. They studied different religious and spiritual ideas and practices. They sought to live differently in this reality. They hoped for a shift in how humanity lived and acted. They hoped and they despaired both for themselves and for humanity.

Lately their efforts are being responded to by the larger forces of the universe. Personally, I thought that this human experiment had gone so wrong that this species would be eliminated. Exactly the opposite seems to be taking place. Energies from other dimensions, elements of the earth and nature are rising and communicating with humans who are opening up to these connections. I believe that the reality of separation that we all have been born into, educated within, and strangled within its grasp is dying. We, as humanity, are discovering the more of what humans can be, can do and can have here on earth. We are re-discovering our original design, of how we were meant to be in relationship with the earth and the cosmos.

My sensing is that there is so much etheric/dimensional/unseen support that we would be gobsmacked if we felt it all the time. This larger sensing of how we are connected with each other and with the elements comes to us in smaller doses so that our isolated minds can begin to absorb some of the wholeness of this life on earth, some small sense of the interconnectedness, the interrelatedness of all life here. I just finished a week’s experience of holding the space for others on a spiritual journey in Ireland. They were opening up into the sentience of our connections with stones and water. We who tethered with them felt some of what they felt, we dreamed part of the message received, we’ve experienced openings in our lives that we didn’t have before. How does that happen? The technical side I just don’t know, and I know my part of receiving was set to occur through my commitment to that group on that spiritual journey.

Each of us can open up to more of life beyond the 3D. We can open up to being more than our historical personality. We can feel connected to and can communicate with these other energies and forces that exist here. For those of you who would like your mind to open up beyond its present thought structure, I recommend writing the Templates of the Language of Creation. They bring your life-enhancing, life-generating phrases into your Cravings and draw you toward the life that you crave. Start there and you will experience connections not only to your deeper wisdom but more so to Creation/God/Goddess/Allah/Great Spirit. It is time for each of us to open up to the more of whom we can be and of what humanity can be. That opening up to more will create the future that we crave for our children, our grandchildren and for generations rising.

How Do We Think What We Need to Think? by Elektra Porzel

First a word for traditions renewing us to life renewing itself! May 1st is May Day, the midpoint between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. The earliest evidence of this celebration is in the 2^nd century so probably that it was celebrated for both the beauty of nature and for its fertility. The best-known modern May Day traditions include dancing around the May Pole and crowning the Queen of May. Take a minute to smile, look around and treasure the bounty of nature showing itself!!

In addition to being something that we treasure, that we repeat often, our traditions are basically thought patterns encoded in our neural networks and glia cells in our brains. The emotions and physical sensations associated with those traditions are likewise embedded in those networks. Those neural networks and glia cells hold everything that we think is real and how we should act in the world. All that information, all those beliefs, all those perspectives come from our family, our culture, our religion, our country. They frame how we experience our world and the way that we come to the moment, to life.

…human beings think they are their thinking. They think their thoughts are their thoughts. You do not realize your thoughts are thoughts born of cultural structures that leave you trying to fix ‘you’, not your thought patterns. Tantra Maat

If everything in your brains is historic information/beliefs given to you by your family, your religion, your culture, how do know what is your own truth…about yourself, about your place in the world? What are your own possibilities, what is your calling or what are those niggles to be or do differently? Do you need to create different ways to come to being with others, to being with nature, the land and the earth? Just doing the same thing or thinking the same thoughts will not give you a different future.

So, how do you know how to think differently, how to be differently? How do you come to the present moment differently, to create new ways to act in the world? You start with this recognition that your thoughts are not your thoughts. This gives you the perspective of asking…is this really what I believe? What information/perspective am I not aware of?

Next, what do you note about about your society? On a larger scale, what do your historic beliefs say about our institutions, are they sustainable for coming generations? Or if that doesn’t seem supported with evidence, how can you be part of identifying and creating a new more sustainable future for your self, for your family and for humanity? Many authors are speaking to this need now. I am reading Charles Eisenstein and Tyson Yunkaporta. Both these authors predict that our western society is not capable of having a sustainable future as it presently operates. Start with reading these authors to stimulate your thinking.

Reading other sources of information is a starter to opening your mind to the more that is actually present. Then add ‘being with others’ to your search, I suggest that you take the time to be in conversations with others to investigate perspectives different than your own. These partners in conversations should be equally dedicated to discovery and non-judgment. If they are stuck in historic and/or judgmental positions, then they are not the partners that you seek. You don’t have to agree with these conversation partners. You are with them to broaden your own awareness and find how your perspective shifts or expands.

This search through reading and conversation helps your neural networks to expand and connect to these new pieces of data. That makes them a more flexible network where choosing to respond is now possible. In the past, if your neural network was limited, there was only reaction. With more branches and connections, your neural pathways are numerous. You can take a breath and make a choice for what is the most life-sustaining option for you.

I discovered almost 8 years ago that there is one tool that supports me in this process of increasing the diversity of my neural network connections, the Templates of the Language of Creation. When I use the Templates to write my Creation Exercises, I am deepening my search for my own inner wisdom and my connection with Creation/Source. This happens for every writer of their Creation Exercises. The Templates only demand that we write life-generating, life-enhancing phrases. Just writing one Creation exercise results in over 16 life-enhancing phrases connected to that one Craving. 16 life-enhancing phrases now embedded in our neural networks as part of one Craving. The Observing Templates help us stop our looping thoughts and emotions and help us see with clarity where we truly are in the moment.

The Language of Creation’s Templates give us access to our real thoughts of our Original Design and access to the personality within which those thoughts exist. There are new energies coming into earth at this time. They are here to help us in our search for our Original Design and our deeper connection to Creation. Many of us are shifting out of our historic personalities and becoming more of whom we came here to be. We each are part of this body of humanity which is on the verge of restoring the wholeness of their Original Design and birthing their future Selves.

Our journey to discover our larger Self, our Being whom we came here to be, doesn’t end with reading a couple of books or having a couple of conversations or from writing a couple of Creation Exercises. These are ongoing activities over time during which we observe what is shifting in our lives. How are we coming to life differently? How are we being differently? What impact is our shifting behaviors having on others? What are we willing to be? What are we willing to commit to on behalf of a better future for ourselves and coming generations?

Over time, we shift out of our historic thinking and our historic habits. We start walking our talk, the being and thinking of our Original Design. We welcome being part of creating a new sustainable reality for future generations. Take the first step today! Welcome to the miraculous journey of the rest of your life!

We hear a lot about the word consciousness these days. It wasn’t a common word 50 years ago or even 10 years ago. So, what does consciousness mean?

Dictionary definitions

…the awareness or perception of something by a person:” her acute consciousness of Mike’s presence”

…the fact of awareness by the mind of itself and the world: “consciousness emerges from the operations of the brain.”

…an awareness of yourself and the world. Research on consciousness has focused on understanding the neuroscience behind our conscious experiences.

These definitions don’t fit my experience of the journey into greater consciousness not only of what is ‘me’ but also of what is my ‘Self’ that came here on earth to be, to do and to have. My larger Being, this Self, holds why I came here, my unique and essential gift to earth and humanity. It is not a straightforward awareness of my mind nor is it a straightforward awareness of the greater dimensions that interact with humanity. It is both. We are both matter and energy; finite and infinite. Our experience of consciousness depends on both dualities operating in our being in the world.

First let’s look at our brains, where most people think consciousness resides

– the head brain, the Gut Brain and the heart.

Up until the 1980s and 1990s the medical profession only recognized the head brain. They also thought that it was unchangeable…that nothing could be done for people who were either born with or had injured their head brain. Two paths of inquiry changed that picture: Neuroplasticity and the Gut Brain. Research into what we now call neuroplasticity has proved that the head brain is the most malleable organ in the body. Other research discovered the second brain/gut brain has almost the same white and gray matter as the head brain and most of the neurotransmitters. Our experiences are stored in glial neural pathways that connect all three areas of our brains.

Now imagine how an individual’s consciousness about their own possibilities would shift when they have physicians who come from these new perspectives. We can imagine how just these new awarenesses would open up new possibilities for both the patient and the doctor. It’s the combination of new perspectives and new actions that will help the patient and the doctor live differently and thus live a different experience of consciousness. It is with our brains/minds and our spirit that we create new possibilities such that there are new levels of consciousness experienced over time.

Other current research on consciousness focuses on locations within the brain where consciousness is sourced: The frontal lobe or the back of the brain. It may be that these paths of research will yield more information on how the human head brain supports our consciousness and they do not fully address how the wider/deeper/higher levels of consciousness are achieved through both matter and energy. In both systems, there isn’t a path to discovering what the larger field of dimensional consciousness is beyond our matter, our body, and our brains. It’s not a knowing that can be achieved by looking only at the physicality of our brains.

Then what is the mind?

It’s the functioning of the three brains – the enteric nervous system/gut brain, the heart and the head brain all connected by the Vagus Nerve and our Spirit. We think of it as our intellect or maybe everything we experienced in the past through thinking, willing something to be, etc. Our brains hold all the information, ideas, beliefs that we have been fed by our larger society, our family, our religion. These beliefs/truths are stored in pathways in all our brains. So, when we ‘think’ our mind is ‘thinking’ we are mostly simply regurgitating what we learned earlier in life. We are not actually thinking something new, instead we are repeating the old statements that were given to us as the truth about the world.

Ancient spirituality believed that the Solar Plexus housed our Spirit. If that is true and the glial neural networks are located there, what communications are arising through your enteric nervous system/solar plexus? Is this how our spirit informs our mind/brain? When writing our Creation Exercises, we often experience sentience registers arising from our solar plexus. Often people exclaim how they are surprised by the deep wisdom that is written in their ‘embodied’ phrase. Is that their spirit talking? Their deepest wisdom? Creation? Our brains take this wisdom and integrate it into the neural networks about the Craving phrases that we choose. Our mind of our consciousness then is both in matter and thru spirit.

How do we change if we are simply repeating what we have been told?

We can’t think newly if we never explore ourselves outside of the box that has been provided us. Dipping your mind into the wider arena of discovery starts the process of consciousness.

What are ways that we can expand our thinking?

There are tools for the individual to use in this journey of ‘opening up to’ different perspectives, different information…changing perspectives, listening within conversation, writing your Creation Exercises. The Newfield Network suggests that you step outside your normal thinking and investigate new perspectives. Like the five blindmen who disagree what an elephant is…. when they ‘opened up to’ the idea that the other blindman might have a different experience of the elephant…they could change their position around the elephant and thus gain another perspectives. Eventually the ‘all’ of what an Elephant is would be clear to them.

The same happens with each of us when, in listening and conversation, we ‘open up to’ others’ perspectives, others’ wonderings, others’ hopes, others’ values and their common humanity. Our comprehension of what more there is to the world and to life expands our glial neural networks with more pathways; we have more choices in our thinking; and our levels of reactions lessen as these additional choice points makes responding instead of reacting to input more possible. When we write our Creation Exercises, we are increasing our glial neural networks with life-enhancing, life-generating phrases. As we move from writing our Creation Exercises on Template 1, then 2…then 3…then 4,…then 5,…then 6…., and then 7, we are writing from higher and higher levels of our own consciousness intertwined with and inspired by our relationship with Creation.

These expansions help us access levels of consciousness that we hadn’t imagined before. To achieve new perspectives, new common knowing with another and within ourselves, we must shift what we do to listen both externally and internally. In those actions we raise our consciousness levels.

What are the ways that you can search out different perspectives?

I use conversation with others who listen fully with their minds, their bodies, their hearts, and their spirit. They want to open up to others’ perspectives. They are looking to create a future that takes care of everyone on earth including nature, the land, and the waters. Conversations with these people open me up to others’ ideas and information, their wonderings, and their hopes. We use language to explore these ideas. Our language is expanded through these conversations and then becomes anchored as words with larger meanings in our brains. Those meanings carry cognitive and sentient information which makes the new neural pathways part of our whole system, body, mind, and spirit.

In order to language my inner consciousness journey, I use the Templates of the Language of Creation to give myself a connection to Creation and to access the deeper wisdom of my Spirit and Creation. It is in the regular writing of my Creation Exercises that I deepen my own consciousness of who I have been (my historic self) and of my Self…whom I deeply am, whom I came to earth to be, to do and to have. I experience these two processes…the observing of what is occurring and the craving of something new in my life. This interaction of Observing and Craving is integral to my consciousness. They cannot be separated out as just one or the other. We must reflect on where we are to take our next step to creating the life that we crave.

If we are to create a more viable and sustainable future for coming generations, we must come to the world, to ourselves differently. We must operate within consciousness experiences that are wider, deeper, higher than that within which we were born and raised. We raise up others as we raise up our own consciousness. We come to others differently when we ‘see’ from a higher level of consciousness.

That means learning to identify our historic patterns and habits and lessen them. That means changing how we be with others in our families, in our communities. We must look to creating a world, a society that works for everyone. Our present economic system does not do that. Our present healthcare system does not do that. Our present educational and judicial systems do not do that. Paying deliberate attention in these ways creates new experiences of consciousness of the wholeness of all life on earth. All life is interconnected, interdependent, interrelated. In that experience, we will return to honoring and respecting not just all people but also nature, the land, and the waters. Without this whole system response to the earth home and its inhabitants, we won’t be creating a sustainable future for our grandchildren and coming generations. That whole system recognition is a higher level of consciousness than most humans in western societies have lived in the last centuries. We look to the ways of our indigenous peoples who still hold the ways of being one with the land, with nature and each other. It is in their traditions and practices that we discover all that we modern western humans have lost in our experience of connection and consciousness.

Discovering the Deeper Natures of Unpacking, By Elizabeth Geyer

Have you ever had a topic you were super interested in take you down many different pathways to relate to it? Have you ever had that topic become almost a friend, and not let you go? This has been unpacking for me!

Way back in November of 2022, I could see in my mind’s eye, a gathering place, with people gathered around a fire, telling stories and sharing their experiences. I felt such a deep kinship with this group that had not yet shown itself! Guess what? That group surfaced, and began to meet to immerse ourselves in the writing of The Creation Templates. Then, another ‘download’ occurred over the holidays. A knowing that unpacking our lives, our journeys, and the deeper relationship with ourselves could be created. I simply kept being with that ‘can’t not’ feeling…can’t not unpack in 2023!

Currently, this amazing group has almost completed The Art of Unpacking The Creation Templates, series 1. We have just begun to form a relationship with unpacking what there is to unpack in our lives. I had no idea that unpacking had so many pathways! I also had no idea that unpacking would show up everywhere…not just in the writing of the Creation Exercises! There are so many ways to look at unpacking now!

What might you be unpacking this year? How has using a magnifying glass to unpack what is there for you shifted you being who you are? How has taking a deeper dive into the wonder of you been for you? For me, I can see unpacking everywhere! I am unpacking my health and what that is for me; I am unpacking becoming an empty nester, becoming a mom to only three cats and missing the 4th one that just moved out. I am unpacking what my relationship with my daughters is for me now that they aren’t here at home anymore. My relationship with my partner and how we are here at home…another exploration…my relationship with unpacking…with others I hold dear in my life and who they are as part of this unpacking…unpacking what listening to my heart is…listening to my body…listening to my mentors…listening to Mother Earth. This list could go on and on!

The other lens I am observing from is that which has my attention, and discerning that attention with more clarity. In other words…what happens if I am writing a Creation Exercise, unpacking it, and I hit a wall? To observe further I have now learned to ask this: Have I hit a wall because the language in this phrase I am unpacking cannot hold a deeper resonance? Have I hit a wall because the phrase has ‘unearthed’ discomfort and I am not certain I have the strength to follow the unpacking thread? These are questions I have never asked mySelf. What do I ‘do’ if the Template falls flat? Well…newsflash…I am coming to discern that writing that falls flat means I need to let Time pass and let the mind, body and spirit ‘steep’. Knowing I am uncomfortable about something only makes me want to persevere to follow that thread to walk along the path to move to the next greater whole! And looking more deeply if the writing isn’t resonating at all has also been part of the experience of unpacking. Choosing to write a Creation Exercise more mindfully and slowly has been a big help to solve the issue of my writing falling flat.

If you are unpacking, and you run into a wall…I call it a firewall…perhaps ask your heart some of these questions. This year I am working on relevancy and potency of exploring mySelf and Her deeper natures of Being. “S.H.E.” has a lot to say and is loving Her audience!

Unpacking the deeper nature of Being and Self is an amazing journey thus far. I would love to share this experience of unpacking with you! In hindsight, I am so blown away by the deeper nature of life that has shown up all around me, loved ones, my communities, both local and global, with the Earth and the Universe…this is BIG? Yes?!! Who wouldn’t want this amazing experience?

On a beautiful fall day, in the middle of a small town, full of festival goers, I had my first real experience of scaling. My heart raced, agitation and irritation were upon me. My solar plexus was on fire with a feeling like dread. All of a sudden, everything around me became brighter, louder, and my sense of smell heightened. All of my senses were so attuned to everything in a minute’s time. I knew I could no longer stay at this sweet fall festival. I had no idea what was happening to me. I had no idea that I was experiencing an ‘up leveling’. My body instinctively knew (my mind did not), that I needed to ground myself. I found a park with a stream nearby and laid next to the stream for three hours! Energy stabilized in the body, and the agitation slowly dissipated. This first experience of scaling was the longest, and most profound event. Since then, there have been several events like this, with differing experiences, varying from extreme agitation to irritation that did not dissipate for hours at a time, to feeling very emotional. Once I knew I was in another recursion (event) of scaling, just being aware helped calm the systems.

What IS scaling then? To assist myself, I wrote an acrostic poem above. Experience has shown (only my own…yours might be quite different), that scaling happens when we are moving from one energetic place to another. Sometimes scaling happens slowly over time…perhaps days, or slowly over hours. Sometimes it can come on quickly. I recall being in a body of work with Tantra Maat a couple of years ago. We were beginning something new, and suddenly, I felt a huge rush of energy happen in my solar plexus. I wasn’t certain how to handle it. I realized I was scaling, and this was another register…the rush in my solar plexus. I was also a bit lightheaded. I recall Tantra having me breathe fully and slowly. I also recall feeling as though there was not enough room in my abdomen for the amount of air coursing through it. I imagined a huge balloon, expanding out with each breath. Soon, I was able to feel a balance occur in the body, and my head felt better aligned, the dizziness dissipating.

Scaling is a fascinating experience. There are many situations that might have us scale. One might be a shift in the energy on the planet. Another can occur when we are in an event with many, many people, and the feeling of unity brings a huge rush of energy into the systems. Yet another might happen as we write the Creation Exercises; particularly the last three-5,6 &7. As we delve more deeply into our explorations of Self and the world around us, we can experience scaling in our writing. I remember a few times when I was writing these exercises and there was such a huge rush as I read the finished exercise to myself!

I am on a quest to be with scaling as I unpack the deeper nature of mySelf this year. I am not a beginner with experience scaling, yet I am a beginner with articulating it, and describing my experiences with scaling will continue to give me new perspectives, which will assist me in sharing clarity with others and myself.

Stepping Out of Your NOW and into Your Future by Elektra Porzel

What happens in your body when you read the title of this article?

Stomach clenching?

Bile rising in your throat?

Excitement rising?

Eyes brightening with anticipation?

For many of us, the thought that we could design our life is a bit scary.

How could we possibly know what the right choices are?

After all, our entire lives others have told us what we should do, must do to survive and thrive in this lifetime. We have listened to them. We also have followed patterns of behavior that at one time felt ‘right’ for us,

Sometimes we followed the advice of the others. Sometimes we did walk our own path but then found that that path no longer fit what we wanted out of life. Seem familiar?

With those thoughts in mind, the team at the Institute started to be interested in how people learn and how their needs in learning now might be different than the traditional ways that we were taught in school as youngsters.

So we started a search for new ways of learning. New ways to support people in learning how to use the Templates. We wanted to figure out not a teaching method, but a learning method, that would support people in using the the Templates of the Language of Creation as a tool for becoming all that they craved to be.

We looked at the idea of flipped curriculum where the reading and viewing of information is done by the student in their own paced learning. We thought about how movement of the body helps us to be present to our sentience more easily,

Then we settled on a title for a new program that combined both of the above, flipped curriculum and a focus on sentience. It’s name…Designing Your Life. I discovered that I couldn’t talk about shifting how others learn to design their lives differently without the same questioning going on in my system. I began to be aware that something was shifting in how I experienced my own life. In my life, I couldn’t help become more aware that something was missing for me.

You might be asking, why would I share this? Aren’t I supposed to touting how wonderful my life is because I use the Templates?

I suppose that you are correct. If I was writing a standard marketing piece, I would only talk about how fabulous my life is…all due to writing the Templates.

Yeah, I could have done that. Instead I chose to be honest with you.

Just like me, you may have been unconscious to the fact that how you live your life is not how you would like to live your life. There is not the levels of joy, or excitement or peace that you would love to have.

I have started on my own journey to shift my patterns of living by paying attention to my sentient awareness. I hope that you do too! So that we all can live our lives as the unique and essential gifts that we are to this planet and to humanity,

Let your body and mind talk to you.

Let your body and mind niggle at you as you contemplate the idea of having more of the life that you crave.

Let the yearning in,

Let the wondering in,

Then take the next step…and

Your body is the vehicle through which your Spirit experiences the world. It provides you with the sentient experience of matter while your Spirit enlivens your experience with memories of your original design and of the reality that you crave.

You are the actor upon the stage experiencing the world from your own perspective through the sensory capacities of your body, through the lens of your culture’s indoctrination while your Spirit reminds you that once there was a paradise that existed here and urges you forward to call it in.

From William Shakespeare’s view, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players”. What is the play that we are acting in? …life as matter enlivened by Spirit in search of paradise.

How do I experience my body as the language of Creation?

Through your sentient awareness which springs from your body as sensations, as energies moving through you, as words popping into your head, as a drawing of your attention to something to pay attention to. It is experienced as

Your joy at hearing the sound of a baby’s laughter

Your delight in the sparkle of sunlight on the water’s surface

Your sudden inward breath at being present with the colors of sunset or dawn

Your tenderness when holding the hand of a beloved

The familiar smell bringing back memories of long ago

The feeling of being part of the group that you are with

Your sense of settling into the solitude of quiet

How do I listen to the language of creation?

With your five senses and your internal listening to

your heart’s longing for a world that you have not experienced in this lifetime

your inner questioning of what is resonant for you

your sensing of energies moving thru you

words and phrases that pop into our heads and feel life-enhancing to you

your inner voices telling you what is ok or not ok

What part of my body is talking when I listen internally?

Every cell and organ in your body as they stand 24/7 for your thrival in this world.

Your Enteric Nervous system also known as your Gut Brain, your solar plexus

Your glial cells which store your memories, your hopes, your dreams and connect them all together via neural networks in your head-brain and your gut brain.

Your embryonic cells which remember your original design of whom you came here to be, to do and to have.

How have humans languaged this language of creation within us and in the world?

Through the noticing of consistent patterns in the structure of life forms here that are called geometric forms, the Fibonacci spiral, the golden mean

Through the study of systems within the human body that act in harmony and balance with other organs and cells

Through the application of these organ and system’s relationship knowings in creating spiritual and healing modalities such as the Taoist practices, the Ayurvedic healing practices.

Through the investigation and application of the healing powers of herbs, gemstones, different sound vibrations.

How are these all different or same as the Language of Creation presented in the book, Language of Creation, by Tantra Maat?

Same as in the structure of the Templates being the same as the golden mean, the Fibonacci spiral

Same as in direct correlation with the Solfeggio tones

Same as the body’s sentient awareness informing us

Different in that we use language and sentience to create phrases that are life-enhancing and life-generating

Why the emphasis of sentient awareness in writing the Observing and Craving Templates?

Because sentient intelligence is your Flesh and your Spirit’s communication system with the conscious you. Your sense of Self is a combination of your historic experience and your determination to create the life that you crave. Your Spirit and your Flesh remind you of your original design and of the life that you came here to live in the reality that you crave to be here.

For millennia, humans have searched for a return of paradise through how they BE in the world. We are in that same search. Many thousands of years ago, a king names Hermes developed the Hermetic Law of Resonance.

How do I change my resonance and attract more of what is positive and optimistic into my life?

By writing your Creation Exercises regularly.

By paying attention to the wisdom that arises in your phrasings in your Craving and Observing Creation Exercises.

By noting what are you present to…opened up to.

By paying attention to what you crave, create, sustain and maintain, and embody.

Those phrases come from within your own Flesh and Spirt, the matter and energies which are YOU. No one else. You are Creation’s hand upon the earth seeking a return of the original design of this planet and its Beings. Be that and you will change your resonance and experience life as you craved it to be.

You build an awareness of Self beyond your historic personality and habits and beliefs. You become the unity of Spirit and Flesh, Matter and Energy, Biochemical and Alchemical.

You move in the spiral of the Fibonacci spiral experiencing larger and larger fields of knowing. You hold those fields in their higher vibrations of a life-sustaining reality that calls in the etheric forms that once existed in paradise on earth.

Love yourself as YOU. BE that YOU everyday day as much as you can as you are in this reality and not ‘of’ this reality.
