We are One

We are the saviors of our descendants, and the earth. It falls to us to take a stand for future generations, for the earth and for all the Beings that call this planet home.

251 years ago, our ancestors collaborated in a ‘we’ statement.  They chose to act on the concept that together we could accomplish more for the people living on this continent at that time and for the future.  There was an ‘us’ that could provide the highest good for all our people rather than depending on another to give us what we desired and deserved.

Today we are faced with the same choice.  Do we believe in the power of the greater whole of humanity when we act as one?  Do we believe that ‘we the people’ means this nation includes in its care everyone: those who have few financial resources; those who have differing physical and mental capabilities; those who just arrived on our shores; those of different races and those of different gender orientations; those who are young and old?

Only if we act as one, can we create the future our ancestors dreamed of and fought for.

The USA has stood for certain values that made the rest of the world take notice. Yet, this nation have not always acted on our core values.  There are many times that this nation used our power to subjugate others.  Today we the people can take a stand again for what we believe to be right for all people.  Our nation is far behind in ensuring universal health care, universal education or even a living income for all our people.  Let’s stand for the rights of all over the rights of the few.  We don’t have a king to fight, and we have the same complaints that are listed in the Declaration of Independence.

He has endeavoured to prevent the Population of these States; for that Purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their Migrations hither, and raising the Conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
          He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.
          He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the Tenure of their Offices,

He has erected a Multitude of new Offices,

He has protecting them, by a mock Trial, from Punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
          For cutting off our Trade with all Parts of the World:
  For depriving us, in many Cases, of the Benefits of Trial by Jury:
          For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offenses.

I believe that this is going to mean changes in our national conversation into a ‘we’ perspective.  This means many changes in how we act and what we give and require of all our citizens.

We are One.  Let’s act on the power of this viewpoint.  We are the saviors that we have been praying for.  We can create a new nation established on ‘we’ rights and responsibilities.  Start where you can:  Write your Creation Exercises on your deepest craving for this nation; act with others locally for the care and protection of all people; vote for those who speak and act from this ‘we’ perspective. Join this national ‘we’ conversation. Start this ‘we/us’ conversation with your friends, your neighbors.

We are the ones that we have been praying for. It is time to take a stand for rights of future generations for certain

unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—-That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
