The Power of Words by Sahere Hum
“We live in experience before language, and yet language gives us access to our experiences.” Tantra Maat
When you are experiencing something, there are no words for what you are experiencing. In fact, if you start to look for words while you are in the middle of experiencing something, you lose the experience. Yet if you can’t find the words that can express what you experienced, the experience will drift off into the ethers and you may never remember it. When you have just experienced something that really moved you, this is the perfect time to just write an observing. You may have to struggle at first to find the words. You are creating new neural pathways, yet it will help you get access to the experience you just had. The template of an Observing was designed to help guide you in finding your words for your experience and to help bring your experience into an even larger picture. Once you find your words it will bring the experience into the physical world and the experience becomes more tangible and it is anchored into your present reality. You now have more access to your experience and it won’t drift off into Neverland.
Just like during the night and you woke up to the memory of a dream you just experienced. You are so sure you will remember your dream, you don’t need to write it down, and yet, in the morning, you can’t remember your dream. It has escaped you.
I have spent many years in a ‘zoned out place’ or what I called stillness. I was deeply with something and yet there were no words and I did not experience my body. I did not have words for what I was experiencing, therefore I did not have access to what I was experiencing. When I first started writing the Creation Exercises it would take me a really long time to find words. Yet it was important to me and I was committed to finding words. I am now finding the power of resonant words that I never knew existed. I cannot tell you how many times my body will respond to just the right words or combination of words. I can now anchor into the physical what I am experiencing, what I am present to, what I am opening up into, and what I now have.
We have lost the real power of words. Words can create worlds. The Bible it says, “In the beginning was the word,” and then it went on to create everything else. By using your own personal resonant words, it stirs up something deep within you, and these words along with the language of your body in the form of your physical sensations, just knowing, or hearing the words, sends out a strong signal, stronger than you are even aware of, and Creation hears you. As you are writing your own cravings and obseverings you are sending a signal out, declaring how you want life to look. When you put your awareness and attention somewhere, Creation starts to pay attention too.
We have forgotten the power that we carry within us. We have forgotten that we have say in the world we live in. Start claiming your say in the world you live in by using your own words. They carry more power than you remember.
